Rick Foster

Rick Foster has practiced as a Hospital Pharmacist for 50 years and brings medical knowledge to the Foundation Board that covers both patient care aspects and financial background. Rick has been both an Assistant Hospital Direct and was a Hospital Pharmacy Director at a 280-bed hospital where the pharmacy budget was well over a Million dollars a year. After received his Doctor's Degree in Pharmacy, he continued to take many different kinds of educational classes from computer repair to welding, with an occasional advanced chemistry class thrown as fun. He was a Grand Jury Member for 2 years and closely follows Plumas county government actions. He is retired, but still holds a California Pharmacist License and occasionally works as a relief pharmacist so he can stay current on his medical knowledge.
